  • 2000g Potatoes
  • 2 pcs Onion
  • 6 Eggs
  • Parsley
  • Chives

Basic recipe:


1. Squeeze the grated potatoes in a towel, mix with onions, herbs, spices, beaten eggs, and potato starch.

2.In a good frying pan heat peanut, canola or olive oil, pour in the buffer mass by tablespoon and fry golden brown.
Serve with traditional " Äppelkompott ", or (for the Hamburger generation) with ketchup.


Variations:

  • Add 150 g of frozen peas
  • Replace some of the grated potatoes with carrots
  • Replace some of the grated potatoes with zucchini
  • Replace  a portion of the potatoes with grated sweet potatoes or yams.
  • Replace some of the grated potatoes with turnips
  • Add other Italian herbs and serve with  tomato salsa
